Our History

We have lived in Saint Gervais since 2004, and have been visiting this part of the Alps since the late ’80s ! We chose to live in Saint Gervais because it is a genuine mountain village, not just a tourist town open in the season. The whole valley, which stretches down from the village of Les Contamines Montjoie, down to Saint Gervais is beautiful and peaceful, but at the same time it has fantastic tourist infrastructure, catering for Summer as well as Winter activities. And of course it is surrounded by the most amazing mountains! Whether you are an Alpinist, hiker, runner, cyclist, skier or just love the scenery there is something here for you.

It has certainly changed a bit over the years, but it still retains the same friendly feel and family friendly vibe that we loved at the beginning.
